EU Exit Workshop Series: Customs and Taxation

We are running a series of virtual workshops to help businesses prepare for the end of the transition period and leaving the EU on 31 December 2020.
In the second event in the series, we will discuss customs and taxation. You will hear from specialist advisors on topics such as the possible customs and VAT implications of EU Exit and the Trader Support Service which has been provided to assist businesses in moving goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and into Northern Ireland from outside the UK.
You will also have the opportunity to ask your questions in a live Q&A session with the speakers, and book one-to-one meeting appointments with business advisors.
Speakers
The workshop, hosted by Donal Durkan, Executive Director of Strategy at Invest NI, features Michael McNeill and Claire McCaffray from PWC, who will talk about the customs formalities businesses need to be aware of. You will also hear from Shanker Singham and Frank Dunsmuir of the free Trader Support Service who will advise on how NI Businesses need to prepare for changes in the way goods are moved between Northern Ireland and Great Britain.
