Carbon Literacy for Tourism Programme

This programme will run in January, and then again in March.

 

Programme 1: 17 & 24 January 2023

Time: 10am-12.30pm & 2pm-4.30pm

 

Programme 2: 14 & 21 March 2023

Time: 10am-12.30pm both days

WHATS ON OFFER?  

Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful is pleased to introduce accredited Carbon Literacy Training for individuals in small - medium sized Tourism and Hospitality businesses.

Learn the science behind climate change, the impacts and how the tourism sector can respond through carbon awareness, to reduce emissions.

- Each programme comprises of two, 2.5hr online sessions followed directly after by 3hrs worth of self-study.

- Accredited and certified by the Carbon Literacy Project.

- Explores climate change and its relevance to carbon emission reduction planning in the tourism sector. 

- Suitable for SMEs at the start of their sustainability planning.

- Networking opportunity.

 

These sessions are fully funded by Tourism NI as part of their ongoing commitment to the development of the tourism industry.
